John’s mom, Beverly Moore, has been serving this recipe for as long as John can remember. She was kind enough to share it when John and Eva married and we have been enjoying it for decades. It smells amazing while it cooks and tastes even better!
1 ½ cups uncooked rice
⅓ cup milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 serving size pieces bone-in, uncooked chicken
½ a package dry onion soup mix
Mix together soups and milk. Stir in rice. Place on bottom of 9x13" pan. Place chicken on top of rice mixture. Sprinkle desired amount of onion soup mix over chicken. Cover pan with foil. Bake 2 ½ hours at 325°.
